One Good Read
One of my favorite religious books is Two Kinds of Righteousness by Dr. E. W. Kenyon. I highly recommend it if you find yourself stuck in the “sin, unworthy, blah blah” struggle. Don’t stop striving to grow. If others tell you it isn’t good enough, don’t worry about them. God knows your heart. God is really the only judge you have to worry about. One of these days we are going to have to learn to follow our own hearts.
Grace vs. Law
It really is that simple.
For no one can ever be made right with God by doing what the law commands. The law simply shows us how sinful we are.
2 Corinthians 5:21
God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God.
All fixed. It is finished. We are heirs. We are clean. If we slip He is faithful. No Condemnation. Awesome! Same for those that get bashed. Same for those that don’t know it yet. Why tell them bad news? Then we circle back to love.
Maybe we should stop bullying homosexuals, addicts, whores, hate the sin; love the sinnerers? God changed my heart. No person. We do our part: love. God does his part! EASY! It is a gift with every name. That is the Good News, Right? Have I told you lately that I love you?
